A new video from the HighMag Project is now available, giving an inside look at how the collaboration officially kicked off on May 26th at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna.
Funded by Horizon Europe, this ground-breaking collaboration of 13 expert partners is now cracking on with the real work of developing the next generation of high-energy, low-cost magnesium batteries. This short video captures the energy and passion from the project’s launch, where its shared mission truly began.
The project aims to champion a new approach to energy storage that is safer and far more sustainable. The video explores how HighMag’s core vision is to enhance battery safety, drastically reduce their environmental impact, and bolster Europe’s strategic independence in energy.
